Katie Pavlich’s call for flight restrictions called ‘racist position’

Ever since a man who had traveled from Liberia was diagnosed with Ebola in Texas, there have been calls for flight restrictions from Ebola “hot spots” in West Africa. So far, the Obama administration has said it has no such plans.

Katie Pavlich says the Ebola threat means it’s well past time for flight restrictions:

Shut down flights to and from Ebola stricken countries. Now.

Guess what happened next:

There is no medical evidence for this racist position RT @KatiePavlich Shut down flights to and from Ebola stricken countries. Now.

The science is settled! How very predictable.

Ah yes, shutting down flights from countries with rampant Ebola is totally all about racism @zaidjilani

You're talking about quarantining Africa. The World Health Organization, which wiped out smallpox, disagrees @KatiePavlich

— Zaid Jilani (@ZaidJilani) October 3, 2014

How did Ebola get here @zaidjilani? Because someone went to Liberia and brought it back, genius. Flight restrictions prevent that.

PC trumps common sense in many circles.

@NeilBhatiya @ZaidJilani @KatiePavlich the elites are more concerned about political correctness, they can't be trusted.

@ZaidJilani @KatiePavlich African countries have banned travel from Liberia!

— EdAsante (@EdAsante77) October 3, 2014

You are slow @ZaidJilani . We need to close down travel to keep America from getting worse! @KatiePavlich

— Boston Strong (@UmassAlum28) October 3, 2014

@KatiePavlich @ZaidJilani And the people at British Airways are racist too, apparently. PC gets people KILLED.

Why hasn’t the Obama administration so far instituted travel bans on countries with Ebola outbreaks? Ace has a great read at Ace of Spades about that subject:

Precisely. RT @JohnEkdahl: Yes, this. http://t.co/bLKdq8ijVI pic.twitter.com/0W7GGKKQto
